    A Milestone Within Reach

For months, we have shared a vision: a place where every mother can give birth safely, where every child receives compassionate care, and where no family is turned away for lack of resources.

Today, that vision is nearly a reality.

We are overjoyed to announce that our ongoing Hospital & Maternity project at St. John’s Hospital and Maternity Umuobom, Ideato North, Imo State, Nigeria, is nearing completion. The walls are up, the roof is secure, and the rooms are taking shape. Very soon, this facility will begin saving lives.

But before we open our doors, we need your help to finish what we have started.

With Deepest Gratitude to Ted & Noreen Krevis

None of this progress would have been possible without the extraordinary generosity of Ted and Noreen Krevis.

From the very beginning, Ted and Noreen believed in this dream when it was just a prayer and a blueprint. Their leadership gift laid the foundation – literally and figuratively – for this health centre. Because of their compassion and commitment, we have been able to complete the construction phase and move toward our final goal.

    Ted and Noreen, thank you.
You have given our community more than a building. You have given hope to every mother who will one day walk through these doors. Your names will forever be part of every life saved within these walls.

    We are deeply, deeply grateful.

The Final Step: Equipping Our Hospital for Life-Saving Care

A hospital building is just walls and roofs. What transforms it into a place of healing is modern medical equipment – the tools that enable our doctors, nurses, and midwives to diagnose, treat, and save lives.

Right now, our hospital stands ready but unfurnished. We urgently need your support to purchase and install essential equipment across every department, including:

    Maternity & Delivery Ward

    • Delivery beds and obstetric tables
    • Newborn warmers and incubators
    • Fetal heart rate monitors
    • Neonatal resuscitation equipment
    • Breast pumps and feeding supplies

    Operating Theatres

    • Surgical lights and operating tables
    • Anesthesia machines
    • Suction units
    • Sterilization and autoclave equipment
    • Surgical instrument sets

    Emergency & Outpatient Departments

    • Emergency crash carts
    • Oxygen concentrators and ventilators
    • Defibrillators and cardiac monitors
    • IV stands and infusion pumps

    Diagnostic & Laboratory

    • Ultrasound machines
    • X-ray equipment
    • Blood analyzers and microscopes
    • Centrifuges and lab refrigerators

    General Wards & Support

    • Patient beds and mattresses
    • Wheelchairs and stretchers
    • Examination tables and cabinets
    • Basic diagnostic tools (blood pressure monitors, thermometers, weighing scales)

Without this equipment, we cannot treat a single patient. With it, we can serve thousands of families every year – delivering babies, performing surgeries, and providing compassionate care to those who need it most. With them, we can serve hundreds of mothers and children every year.

    How You Can Help

We are now turning to you – our extended family of supporters, partners, and friends – to help us cross the finish line.

Here is how you can make a difference:

    1. Make a Donation

Every dollar goes directly toward equipping our hospital and maternity centre. No gift is too small.

    • $50 – Provides basic diagnostic tools for one exam room
    • $250 – Helps purchase a fetal heart rate monitor
    • $500 – Supports the cost of a newborn warmer
    • $1,000 – Contributes toward an ultrasound machine
    • $5,000 – Helps fully equip one delivery room
    • $25,000 – Sponsors a complete operating theatre setup
