Ongoing HealthCare Clinic and Maternity

  • Maternity
  • Healthclicnic

For months, we have shared a vision: a place where every mother can give birth safely, where every child receives compassionate care, and where no family is turned away for lack of resources.

Today, that vision is nearly a reality.

We are overjoyed to announce that our ongoing Health Centre & Maternity Ward at Umuobom, Ideato North, Imo State, Nigeria, is nearing completion. The walls are up, the roof is secure, and the rooms are taking shape. Very soon, this facility will begin saving lives.

But before we open our doors, we need your help to finish what we have started.

With Deepest Gratitude to Ted & Noreen Krevis

None of this progress would have been possible without the extraordinary generosity of Ted and Noreen Krevis.

From the very beginning, Ted and Noreen believed in this dream when it was just a prayer and a blueprint. Their leadership gift laid the foundation – literally and figuratively – for this health centre. Because of their compassion and commitment, we have been able to complete the construction phase and move toward our final goal.

Ted and Noreen, thank you.
You have given our community more than a building. You have given hope to every mother who will one day walk through these doors. Your names will forever be part of every life saved within these walls.

We are deeply, deeply grateful.

The Final Step: Equipping the Centre for Modern Care

A building alone cannot heal. It needs modern healthcare equipment – the tools that turn empty rooms into a functioning maternity ward.

Right now, the centre stands ready but unfurnished. We need your support to purchase and install essential equipment, including:

  • Delivery beds for safe childbirth
  • Newborn warmers to protect premature babies
  • Fetal heart rate monitors to track the baby’s health during labor
  • Suction machines and oxygen concentrators for emergencies
  • Sterilization units to prevent infection
  • Basic diagnostic tools (blood pressure monitors, thermometers, scales)
  • Furniture for exam rooms and recovery areas

Without these items, we cannot open. With them, we can serve hundreds of mothers and children every year.

How You Can Help

We are now turning to you – our extended family of supporters – to help us cross the finish line.

Here is how you can make a difference:

1. Make a Donation

  • $50 – Buys basic diagnostic tools for one exam room
  • $250 – Provides a fetal heart rate monitor
  • $500 – Helps purchase a newborn warmer
  • $2,500 – Fully equips one delivery room

To donate: Visit our website or contact us using the information below.

2. Share This Post

You may not be able to give financially, but you can give by spreading the word. Share this blog post on social media, email it to friends, or mention it at your place of worship or work.

3. Sponsor a Specific Piece of Equipment

If you or your organization would like to sponsor a particular item (such as a delivery bed or sterilizer), please reach out directly. We would be honored to recognize your gift with a small dedication plaque inside the centre.
